Dominica's PM pledges EC$50,000 towards completion of Phase 1 of the Goodwilll Lindo Park Project

​Dominica's PM, Roosevelt Skerrit, has pledged EC$50,000 towards the completion of Phase 1 of the Lindo Park Project in Goodwill.
Just last week the Lindo Park Development Committee went on a public awareness campaign to raise funds for completion of the development works at the Lindo Park playing field in Goodwill.
Works recommenced for the development of the Lindo Park playing field in July this year.
Last year upgrades including excavation for fencing, lighting and a jogging track commenced and were being funded through the Australian and New Zealand High Commissions.
It was however halted by the Land & Surveys Division because there was no request for permission from government to undertake the project on state owned property.
PM Roosevelt Skerrit Tuesday morning pledged his government's commitment towards the development project.
