Dominica's Prime Minister cautions citizens to be careful of Ponzi Schemes geared at swindling them out of their monies

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit is cautioning citizens to be careful of Ponzi Schemes geared at swindling them out of their monies.
Skerrit made these remarks at last week's Parliament session.
He made specific mention of the Nature Island Investment Club which he dubbed a Ponzi Scheme.
In 2015 the Nature Island Investment Club was formed by Dominicans both at home and abroad seeking to create economic opportunities through investment projects within the productive sectors of Dominica.
It was described as an initiative intended to make Dominica "the best place to live, work and enjoy life."
The parliamentary representative for Roseau Central Joseph Isaac was one of the persons behind the initiative.
And the PM is also advising persons to stay away from any investment scheme that is offering more than what the bank is.
