DOMLEC General Manager Bertillia McKenzie has received CARILEC’s 2016 first ‘Beyond The Glass Ceiling Award’

DOMLEC General Manager Bertillia McKenzie received CARILEC’s 2016 ‘Beyond The Glass Ceiling Award’, on Sunday 13 March 2016
Mrs McKenzie is the first recipient of this CARILEC Award, which was presented to her during CARILEC’s ongoing 2016 Human Resource, Corporate Communications & Customer Service Conference in Grenada.
Her selection was recommended by a CARILEC’s HR committee, based on demonstrated courage to overcome tough times, pursuing set goals driven by conviction, and without compromising values or virtues.
During the presentation, Mrs McKenzie was described as someone who has backbone, strength, and a tenacious conquering spirit, who will not allow obstacles to distract from her vision and personal mission.
 A press statement from the company indicates that Mrs McKenzie was visibly shocked at receiving the award, but that she appeared to be humbled that she was selected as the first recipient.
DOMLEC management and staff have saluted Mrs. McKenzie, and stated that they are proud to have her as their General Manager, and wish her God’s grace and blessings in all that she does, going forward.
