DOMLEC Former Director says his proposals to a past DBGA board would have boosted Agriculture11/17/2016 Former Director at Dominica Electricity Services Ltd Grayson Stedman says, many years ago, he tried to add more structure to the management of the agriculture industry, in which 19 % of the farmers at that time, seemed to have been benefiting more than others in certain respects. Stedman said, when he concluded his research findings and offered his recommendations to the board of the Dominica Banana Growers Association, he was told by a board member at the time, that a procedure was already in place as regards management of the 6400 registered farmers. Stedman is of the view that, if the recommendations that he offered had been accepted by the board, it would have propelled the entire Agriculture industry forward, and would have provide equal benefits to farmers across the island, and even further afield.
