DPSU General Secretary laments no advocacy for public servants to be nominated for General Elections
DPSU General Secretary Thomas Letang says he is disturbed by the fact that there is no advocacy for public sector employees to be nominated for General Elections, and adds that even if that person loses the election, he or she should be allowed the opportunity to be employed back into public service.
Letang is calling on the relevant authorities to make this law, as such an act would ensure that public officers who contest for elections and loses are given a fair chance for employment in the public sector.
