Dr Ranford Paul Ricketts appointed as Special Advisor on Health and Ambassador at large to Dominica

Dr. Ranford Paul Ricketts has been appointed as Special Advisor on Health and Ambassador at large to Dominica.
According to a Press Release from the Office of the Prime Minister, Dr Ricketts will help to develop appropriate strategies that will strengthen the healthcare system in Dominica especially on matters pertaining to the delivery of care services.
Dr. Ricketts will also perform several other duties under the directives of the Minister for Health & Environment and the cabinet, and work in close liaison with the Permanent Secretary in that ministry.
Dr. Ricketts has been employed as a medical officer in Dominica since 1986 and his appointment took effect in February 2016.
