January is being observed as drug awareness month in Dominica.
An exhibition in LaPlaine, outreach programs in various communities, visits to preschools and activities at the Roseau Public Library are some of the activities planned for this month’s observance.
The signature activity is an award ceremony for peer helpers in Dominica.
This year’s observance is being held under the theme, “Let’s develop our lives, our communities, our identities without drugs.”
