DSWMC PRC Jeno Jacob says he is pleased that an Environmental Court could soon be set up in Dominica7/25/2016 Public Relations Officer of the Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation, Jeno Jacob, says he is pleased that an Environmental Court could soon be set up in Dominica. Earlier this year PM Roosevelt Skerrit warned citizens to take care of the environment as there will soon be consequences for those who do not adhere to the law. Skerrit made the appeal in light of the new court which will soon be implemented to deal with offences under the litter act. According to the PM, litter wardens will be stationed around the island to work with environmental health officers in order to bring persons who have no respect for the environment and who are in violation of the litter act to justice. And Jacob says although not a large number, there are still persons who do not adhere to the rules and regulations with regards to garbage disposal. He is urging more Dominicans to use the landfill in an effort to keep the country clean. Public Relations Officer of the Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation Jeno Jacob
