E-Promotions 2016 King of Kings Calypso Extravaganza takes the stage in a more spacious & elegant venue in New York City

Organizers and promoters of the 13th Annual King of Kings Extravaganza announce a new, more spacious and even more elegant venue for hosting the event this year. The new location is the Rochdale Village Community Center in Queens, New York, 169-65 137th Ave.  Jamaica NY 11434.
 
The major line-up for the 2016 event includes the record breaking calypso monarch Dennison ‘King Dice’ Joseph, King Hunter, the 3-time calypso king, King Scrunter & King Observer both 2 time kings, King Daddy Chess, and one female Calypso Monarch from Dominica, Tasha P will be performing.
 
Additionally, the Young Bull, De Bobb, Sye, Lugaz, 3-time DASPA king - the mighty pigtail, 3-time Junior monarch - De Professor, and 2016 Female Calypso Queen Janae Jackson will also be onstage.
All of the past calypso kings of Dominica will be performing their greatest calypsos hits of yester-year. There will also be a special guest performance from the Bouyon King, Asa Bantan.  The calypsonians will all be accompanied by Dominica’s longest serving Calypso Band – The Swinging Stars.
 
A special tribute will be presented to one of calypsos fallen soldiers, “The Boople”. Sye, Bobb and Dice will all sing some of his hit songs. The show’s Emcee is none other than the legendary “Prince Waddix”
