Education Minister Petter St Jean announced on Thursday, that a St Martin Primary school student tops this year's Grade Six National Assessment

​A St Martin Primary school student is the top performer at this year's Grade Six National Assessment. Education Minister Petter St Jean made the announcement on Thursday.

​He also gave the top performing schools in this year's examinations.

​Meanwhile, St Jean says Cabinet has taken a decision to increase the value of text book awards to scholarship and bursary recipients,  effective September 2019.

​He gave the increases for the 4th & 5th form levels.

Meantime, this year’s Top five grade six national assessments students are as follows;
Keara Gardier from St. Martin Primary with 4 A’s,
Chante Avril, also with 4 A’s from the Ebenezer primary.
Khobie Darroux, from the convent preparatory 4 A’s
Kamal Peter from Convent preparatory receiving 4 A’s
And Jenay Lawrence St. Martin Primary with 4 A’s.
 
Top student Keara Gardier is extremely happy with the results and that her hard work had paid off.

​She advises the other students to try your best and work as hard as you can and It will all pay off.
