Education Minister pledges support of his ministry to principals across the island

​Dominica's Education Minister, Petter St Jean, has pledged the support of his ministry to principals across the island.
The Minister was addressing the first principals meeting for the 2016/2017 academic year which was held at the Dominica Public Service Union Building Friday morning.
Principals from across the island discussed ongoing and new programs being implemented within the Ministry of Education while charting the way forward.
And St Jean says the job of being educator and a principal is not an easy one.

​St Jean says the achievement of the students of Dominica is symbolic of the work being done by the teachers and principals across the country.

​Meanwhile Chief Education Officer, Melena Fontaine, is calling on the principals to do their part at ensuring the success of the students.
