EU National Authorizing Officer says Agriculture is hindered, due to the lack of interest from the youth
Seventeen schools across the island are benefiting from supplies for upgrading their Agricultural programs.
On Monday, over EC$175,000 in agricultural supplies were presented to 10 primary schools, and 7 secondary schools. The initiative is funded by the EU under the Banana Accompanying Measures (BAM) program.
And the EU National Authorizing Officer Carleen Roberts says the agriculture sector has been hindered, due to the lack of interest from the youth.
