FIBA Representative Lubomir Kotleba makes official visit to Dominica today Thursday 26th January

Lubomir Kotleba, Advisor to the Secretary General of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), is make an official visit to Dominica from Wednesday January 25th to Friday 27th January.
 
Kotleba will meet with Executive Members of the Dominica Amateur Basketball Association, officials with the Sports Ministry, representative of the Dominica Olympic Committee, as well as coaches, referees and players.
 
Kotleba hopes to present a detailed assessment to FIBA, highlighting the positive aspects of basketball in Dominica, and the areas in which improvements are needed, following the discussions with all concerned. FIBA will then develop a tailor-made assistance program for the island, through the FIBA National Federations Support & Development Project,
 
This is in keeping with FIBA’s mandate to “help national basketball federations grow, and take basketball to a higher level in their respective countries”.
