Finance remains biggest challenge facing the Dominica Infirmary says Chairman Thomas Holmes
Financing has been outlined as one of the major challenges facing the Dominica Infirmary.
Chairman of the Dominica Infirmary Board of Directors, Thomas Holmes, says while they receive a subvention from the Government, it is not adequate to meet their financial obligations.
The Infirmary houses over 90 residents and Holmes says to care for one resident costs over $2, 000 a month.
Holmes also called on family members to play a greater role in caring for their relatives at the Dominica Infirmary.
