Flow launched the ‘13th Annual Creole in the Park’ (CITP) today, under its new consumer brand10/6/2016 Cable and Wireless Communications, under its new consumer brand Flow, has launched the 13th Annual Creole in the Park today. One year off the heels of Tropical Storm Erika which devastated the island, General Manager of Flow Dominica, Jeffrey Baptiste, says this year will be different from any other year of staging the event.
According to a release, Baptiste said the company will deliver on its promise to continue supporting and contributing to the development of Dominican Arts & culture; recognizing home grown artisans and musicians, by providing a world class experience for those performing at the Creole in the Park. The line-up will feature some of Dominica’s best-emerging talents as well as more established artistes and bands, plus a few regional acts. The performing bands and artistes will include Midnight Groovers, First Serenade, Triple Kay, Extasy Band, Look-Us Band, among others. Day 1: Ultra Sound Band; Look-Us Band; Extasy Band; Midnight Groovers Day 2: Calypso spectacular; Day 3: Clint Henderson; Nayee and Friends; First Serenade; Triple Kay Day 4: Signal Band; Breve; Asa Banton; and Dexter Daps CITP did not take place in 2015, due to Tropical Storm Erika.
