Foreign Affairs Minister expresses appreciation for US Peace Corps volunteers work done in Dominica
Foreign Affairs Minister Francine Baron expressed deep appreciation for the work that the US Peace Corps volunteers have done, and continue to do in Dominica.
Baron was representing Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit at the recent Peace Corps swearing-in ceremony at the University of the West Indies (UWI) open campus, on 20th January 2016.
In her presentation, she stated that “Dominica is extremely grateful to have hosted Peace Corps Volunteers for the last 49 years, and it’s a stellar organization which has served over 140 countries globally.”
