Foreign Affairs Minister says Peace Corps volunteer program has had a great impact across Dominica
Foreign Affairs Minister Francine Baron says the Peace Corps volunteer program has had a significant impact on a wide range of sectors and communities across Dominica.
Six new Peace Corps volunteers were sworn into service in Dominica Wednesday. The 6 have been on island since August 2015 working in various primary schools across the island. However, the swearing in ceremony was postponed due to the passage of Tropical Storm Erika.
Meanwhile Baron says the volunteers have come to Dominica at a critical stage of Dominica’s recovery.
