Former PM clears the air around the presumed motives which drove the Layou River Hotel Project saga
Former Leader of the united Workers Party and Former Prime Minister of Dominica, Edison James, is attempting to clear the air around what he presumes to be the motives, which may have been driving the promoters of the Layou River, for the purported construction of the failed Layou River Hotel in 1991.
Mr. James says when his party came into office in 1995, this administration held a meeting with Ms. Tonge to clarify matters regarding the Layou River economic citizenship Hotel Project, and after certain questions were posed, it appeared that Ms. Tonge wanted to walk away from the contract she had signed with respect to the project.
