Freedom Party extends congratulation & best wishes to Venezuela’s Democratic Unity Coalition

​The Dominica Freedom Party (DFP) congratulates the Democratic Unity Coalition of Venezuela for wining control of National Assembly in the election held recently. The results came as no surprise since the vast majority of the people of Venezuela were working and calling for change.
 
The Dominica Freedom Party Commended President Nicolas Maduro for recognizing the win of the Democratic Unity Coalition, and hopes he gives them the respect and space provided by the laws of Venezuela, to perform their duties as elected Legislators for the benefit of the people and the country.
 
The DFP calls on the Democratic Unity Coalition to focus on uniting the people as they work to solved the many challenges confronting their country. This includes widespread shortages of basic items, a plunging currency and triple – digit inflation that has brought the Venezuela’s economy to the edge of collapse.
