Gas station owner Cleveland Robinson, 64, of Castle Comfort was allegedly robbed at about 10PM Monday 1st February 2016. According to a police report issued late Thursday 4th February by Police PRO Pelham Jno Baptiste, Robinson alleged that he was attacked by two individuals wearing masks while he was about to enter his Castle Comfort residence.
“One of the individuals, who was armed with a pistol, grabbed a bag which Robinson was carrying and discharged his firearm,” the report indicates. “Robinson sustained injuries to his first and second fingers on his left hand. He was transported to the Accident & Emergency Department of the Princess Margaret Hospital, where he was examined by a medical doctor and discharged,” Jno Baptiste added. The scene was reportedly processed by the Crime Scenes Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department, and investigations into the alleged robbery are ongoing.
