Government says over $1 million is being spent to rehabilitate a portion of road en route to Belles
Government has indicated that over 1 million dollars is being spent to rehabilitate a portion of the road en route to Belles, after it was affected by heavy rainfall last week.
Motorists and pedestrians reported that the area posed extreme danger, as a section of the road was sinking, and a landslide had left debris along the Dr Nicholas Liverpool highway.
Immediately thereafter the Ministry of Public Works & Ports announced the closure of the road in the vicinity of the Primary School of the Belles area. Contractor Melkisidec Toussaint spoke to the media on Tuesday.
