The graduation of the participants of the World Bank/Canadian Government-sponsored Women’s Innovative Network of the Caribbean (WINC) Acceleration Programme takes place on Tuesday 8th November 2016 at 4.00 p.m. at the Anchorage Hotel.
The WINC Acceleration Programme is an intensive 8-month program targeted at women entrepreneurs to assist them to grow, and was delivered in 12 Caribbean territories from February to November 2016. The nine (9) participants in Dominica will be graduating and certified on Tuesday 8 November 2016.
Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) will also be observed to celebrate the nine women entrepreneurs graduating on this day. WED is supported by the United Nations and was proclaimed an official day on which the work of women entrepreneurs is observed, discussed, and celebrated throughout the world. Ambassadors have been appointed in each country and Ginny Riviere is the ambassador for Dominica.
