One Grandbay man is in police custody on suspicion of murder in relation to the shooting death of Margarvin Peters of Roseau. Peters, was among two people shot at Bubbles Disco in Grandbay about 1am on Tuesday May 17th 2016. Peters was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) but later succumbed to his injuries. The other individual Baclet Allan of Guadeloupe, sustained a gunshot wound to his lower back and is a patient at the PMH. Police PRO, Sergeant Pelham Jno Baptiste, has more details. Meanwhile, McKenzie Roberts of Calibishie, who resides at Canefield, is a patient at the Princess Margaret Hospital following a motor vehicular collision at Canefield on Saturday May 21st 2016.
According to police reports, the collision was between motorcycle registration number PN 260 being ridden by Roberts and Jeep registration number PF 012 being driven by Dr. Robertson Thomas. Jno Baptiste has more details.
