Health Minister Dr Kenneth Darroux says all efforts must be made to reduce occurrences of blindness from glaucoma
Health Minister Dr Kenneth Darroux calls for a more vigorous approach to efforts to reduce the incidents of blindness as a result of glaucoma.
World Glaucoma Week is held every year in an effort to eliminate blindness and this year Dominica is embarking on a sensitization campaign.
Dr Darroux told an address to the nation that no efforts should be spared in reducing the incidents of blindness from Glaucoma in Dominica.
Darroux says the Ministry of Health is also exploring new ways to combating the eye disease.

The theme for this year’s observation is “Prevent Blindness from Glaucoma, Get Involved.”
