Health Minister tells women to think hard before getting pregnant during Zika outbreak period
Governments says it will not ask women to refrain from getting pregnant because of the Zika virus threat.
But Health Minister Dr Kenneth Darroux says unless the virus is brought under control they should consider whether or not they would want to conceive.
Jamaica and several other Caribbean countries have advised women not to get pregnant for the next 6 – 12 months.
However; Dr Darroux says those who choose to get pregnant must be careful.
