Health Ministry PS says measures have been put in place to prevent and manage NCDs on island
According to Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health & Environment, Helen Royer, Government has to date put several measures in place towards preventing and managing non-communicable diseases on island.
And Royer at the opening ceremony of the regional conference for the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases throughout the Caribbean region highlighted several measures already in place.
The workshop was facilitated by the Ministry of Health & the Environment in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization, PAHO.
Royer says however; the measures must not stop there.
