Housing Minister accuses Former DLP Minister Athie Martin of viciously attacking young farmersĀ2/18/2016 Housing Minister and Cottage MP, Reginald Austrie, is accusing Former Government Minister, Atherton Martin of viciously attacking young farmers of Penville, through comments made on a recent Government cash injection into the Penville young farmers group. Martin, speaking on Q95's talk on the block program Wednesday, expressed concern over the manner in which $100,000 was given to the Agro plus Penville young farmers group without utilizing a proper program or policy. Austrie, in response to Martin's statement on Q95's Hot seat Thursday, says he views it as a "vicious attack" on the young farmers of Penville. He says the assertions made by Athie were "wrong, malicious and mischievous". According to Austrie, the funds were made available under the Petrocaribe social fund and as such did not need parliamentary approval to spend it. Meanwhile, he says the Penville young farmers cannot be condemned for receiving assistance first. He says as with everything there will always be a first, second and third.

Come on Reggie, stop being a stooge and for once tell it like it is. This is pure cronyism and you know it. So long Salisbury farmers begging we keep making excuses and even bomb them like they are part of ISIS instead of helping but you all could find money for some BS so called farmers group in Penville. One day someone will pay.
