Darroux said “Over the years, we have continued to make funds available to the DYBT ….. this amount of $1 million is a major investment in the youth, because we understand - and you will go through the mentorship program, and do the social skills aspect and so forth.” According to Darroux, “You need money to start off your businesses, you need money to give you a kick start and you need money to at least set that platform for you. So that is why we made these monies available to you the young people”. The Most Determined/Successful Female Entrepreneur Award for 2016 went to Sherma Gregoire.
