LaPlaine Disaster Committee claims tourists are complaining of smell from pollution of the Taberi river
Chairman of the LaPlaine Preparedness Committee Jason Fontaine is alleging that tourists have been complaining about the pollution of the Taberi river, and the putrid smell coming from it.
He says Tourists who stay at the Citrus Creek Hotel have had to end their vacations before the appointed time due to the smell. He told q95 news that the owner of the Hotel recently laid off two of his employees, because he thought the reason why his guests were not finishing their meals, was due to bad service.
However, after investigations were made, the Hotelier called back his employees upon realizing that it was the smell of the polluted river, which was being carried by the wind, to his recreational facility.
