LIAT CEO David Evans apologizes for inconvenience caused by flight delays and cancellations1/11/2016 CEO of Regional Airline LIAT, has apologized for the inconvenience being experienced by many of its travellers, due to flight delays and / or cancellations over the past few days.In an official statement, LIAT CEO David Evans said "On behalf of LIAT Airlines, I would like to extend my personal apology for the inconvenience many of you have been experiencing ...We have been addressing several operational & crewing issues over the season, but wish to stress that we have not been notified of any sickout or industrial action by any Union.LIAT’s goal is to make your travel with us a convenient & trouble-free experience,& I am truly sorry we have failed to do so".
The Airline's CEO says they are working to resolve all matters and restore stability to their flight schedule. Meanwhile, Former Prime Minister Edison James recently expressed dissatisfaction with the airline's services, saying that the long delays in flight arrivals is disrespectful to customers. Dominica became the fourth major shareholder of the Regional Airline in 2012
