Lifeline Counsellor believes the laws governing sale of alcohol to minors are OK, but enforcement is lacking
Lifeline Counsellor Tina Alexander believes that the laws concerning selling alcohol to minors are adequate, however the problem lies in the enforcement of the law. She says, if the laws are enforced, then young people will be introduced to alcohol in supervised situations.
Alexander stated that the use of alcohol by some parents is disturbing, and this is a growing concern. She urges parents to be more responsible with alcohol, since children tend to mirror their parents behaviour.
