Link news-magazine Independence Edition proposes erection of a modern Bus Terminal in Roseau

​The Independence Edition of Link news-magazine has proposed the erection of a Bus Terminal to serve the needs of Dominica in this modern era. The construction of such a structure in the Roseau area would be an effective way of resolving the critical Lack of Parking availability in the capital city.
 
Like in most cities around the world, Bus Terminals are a central area for embarking and disembarking for trips anywhere served by public transport, and would undoubtedly ease congestion through 90% of the streets in Roseau which are now overly congested due to reservations for various bus routes.
 
According to the article in the Link news-magazine, a state-of-the-art modern terminal “conveniently located, probably near the Riverside Apartments where some excavation work could see BUS entrance/exits at TWO levels – creating a 3 or 4 level facility.” The Terminal would also create employment for snack Vendors to open up new shops adding to the revenue opportunities for our Small Business operators.
