Local Pastor questions priority agenda of Commonwealth Sec General elect, Baroness Scotland12/11/2015 Local Pastor Randy Rodney, has questioned the priority agenda of Commonwealth Secretary General-elect, Baroness Patricia Scotland. Baroness Scotland was nominated by the Commonwealth of Dominica and elected to the top post on November 27th 2015. In her first address as Commonwealth Secretary General, she announced that she will work to develop equality for all citizens, as she spoke on decriminalizing homosexuality and the importance of equality. Pastor Rodney questions the reason for Baroness Scotland's priority agenda being in contravention to the stance of the DLP government led by Prime Minister Skerrit, on the issue of homosexuality. Pastor Rodney also questioned whether there is a nexus between the appointment of Baroness Scotland, and the Knighthood of PM Skerrit to the Secret Military Constantinian Order of St. George. Baroness Scotland was part of the high level delegation, which visited Dominica in November 2014.
