Lupus patient Shonell Walsh receives EC$4,000 towards her medical expenses in Guadeloupe
A financial contribution of EC$4,000 has been donated to Lupus patient Shonell Walsh, towards her medical expenses in Guadeloupe.
The contribution stemmed from proceeds from the 2016 ‘Ti Matador Creole Pageant’ organized by the Performing Arts Workshop.
Shawn Walsh father of Shonell Walsh expressed thanks to the Ti Matador Committee, for the donation towards his daughter’s medical expenses.
At a small presentation ceremony at the Arawak House of Culture on Thursday morning, Walsh urged corporate citizens to support the efforts of the Dominica Lupus Foundation.
Mealtime, Founder and Artistic Director of the Performing Arts Workshop Jacinta David, is calling on the public to donate to Shonell's expenses.
She says the donations can be made at any of the branches of the National Bank of Dominica.
