Marigot MP, Lennox Linton, says the game being played with the Marigot people has gone on for too long. Linton made this statement following a news conference of the ministry of health on Friday. According to Linton, they paid no attention to the recommendations he made following a meeting with the Marigot people last week. The health ministry has now decided to move the Marigot Hospital to two buildings in the community following the closure of the Accident and Emergency (A&E) department on June 3rd 2016. Linton says the people of Marigot constituency have been neglected by the current DLP Administration and the constituents have some serious decisions to make. The Marigot Hospital was first shut down in 2014 following severe termite infestation.
Since then, the A&E department was being housed downstairs the original structure.
