MET Office and other Agencies advise of tropical wave now affecting Dominica; and landslide at Palington
The Meteorological Office and other National Agencies are advising vehicle owners to be extremely prudent, when traveling to the North of the Island, and particularly on the road between Bourne & Portsmouth.
Currently, there is a landslide in an area called Palington, as a result of heavy rains overnight Wednesday and into Thursday.
The Met Office has announced that a tropical wave is currently affecting Dominica, and persons living in areas prone to flooding, landslides, and falling rocks, are to be vigilant, and exercise extreme caution.
