Miss Dominica 2016 presents $1000 to Social Services Ministry to assist students affected by TS Erika

Miss Dominica 2016 Tasia Flossaic Friday presented a cheque of EC$1,000 to the Ministry of Social Services, which will go towards assisting students who were affected by the passage of TS Erika.
In April of this year, Flossaic officially launched her social platform "families influencing resilience and empowered societies"- FIRES.
The platform seeks to influence resilience, and empower societies to bring awareness and assistance, as it relates to the family.
The monies which were donated Friday, were collected during the “rain concert' concert, which was held the day before the first anniversary of TS Erika.
