More rain can be expected over the next 24 hours as a trough system continues to produce cloudiness, showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly across the northern and central portions of the island chain.
The Dominica Meteorological Office advises persons in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks to be vigilant and to exercise caution.
In addition, slight to moderate seas are expected during the next 24 to 48 hours with waves peaking near 5.0ft therefore, small craft operators and sea bathers are also advised to exercise caution.
