Morrad Ghonim husband of Nadira Lando sentenced to life in prison for killing his first wife Vicki Ghonim

​Morrad Ghonim, Husband of Former Miss Dominica Nadira Lando, has been sentenced to life in prison without any possibility of parole, for murdering his first wife, Vicki Ghonim.
 
Ghonim was found guilty of first-degree murder on 21st November 2016 in California, after being charged with the 1992 murder of his first wife Vicki in the Los Angeles area.
 
According to a Los Angeles Times report, the case remained unsolved for years until DNA tests on clothing recovered from the scene found a genetic match to a prison inmate serving time for burglary, Leon Martinez, who told detectives, that he was the hired hit man.
 
In 2012 Martinez confessed that Ghonim was involved in the matter and prosecutors say the Ghonims were having marital problems at the time, and Morrad paid Martinez $20,000 to stage a robbery, and kill Vicki.
 
Since the death of his first wife Ghonim remarried twice, the last time in 2014, to former Miss Dominica 2012, Nadira Lando, his third wife.
