Mosquito proof drum project to help reduce mosquito breeding sites described as a success so far
The mosquito proof drum project which was introduced in Dominica earlier this year, has been described by officials as a success, thus far.
The US $10,000 project funded by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) is aimed at reducing the number of mosquito breeding sites on the island. The Environmental Health Unit is said to be in its final stages of that project.
Senior Environmental Health Officer Sylvester St Ville has revealed the name of the next community which will be assisted.
