Manager of the National Pest and Termite Control Ltd, Ferdinand Greenaway, is encouraging all Dominicans to cooperate with all representatives of their company, so as to make their job of keeping the public safe from the Zika virus, possible. Mr. Greenaway, informed media personnel that he and his team will be fogging various areas around Dominica, to kill the Aedes Aegypti Mosquito, as a means of preventing the virus from being transmitted. Greenaway is asking that all persons open their windows when fogging is occurring in their area, so the smoke can kill the mosquitoes inside. Meanwhile, Greenaway has called on the general public to assist in the fight to curb breeding of the adult mosquitoes here, and particularly the Aedes Aegypti Mosquito, to prevent the spread of the Zika Virus. So far, no cases of the virus have been confirmed in Dominica. Fogging operations have so far been executed in Soufriere, Scotts Head, Pointe Michel, and at the Douglas Charles Airport
