New State of the Art Hospital; construction to commence at the end of October says Darroux

​Construction of the New State of the Art Hospital is scheduled to commence at the end of October 2016.
That's word from Health Minister, Dr. Kenneth Darroux.
Dr. Darroux made the announcement as he addressed the 30th meeting of the OECS/PPS Policy Board and the 3rd meeting of the Council of Ministers of Health of Member States on Wednesday.

​Meanwhile, Dr. Darroux says the New Hospital will not "cut it" if there is not universal health coverage. 

A new state of the art hospital has been promised here for a number of years now dating back to 2010.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place in August 2016 and Dr. Darroux announced in May that the project had essentially started with the residential buildings for Chinese contractors being constructed.
