Newtown Standardz 7six7 SC Ballers advance to Finals in Joshua Francis ‘9 a Side’ Loubiere Football League

​In sports news: Standardz 7six7 SC Ballers from Newtown has defeated the Afrikaan Boys in semi-final #2 on Saturday of the Joshua Francis ‘9 a Side’ Loubiere Football League.
 
Reports confirm this was the Standardz 7six7 SC Ballers best performance of the season. A 20th minute free kick from 7six7 SC’s Keron Magloire, scored the first goal and within minutes. Kimon Cuffy scored a second goal from close range, off a corner kick.
 
Shortly after the Afrikaan Boys did their best to equalize, the score board was unable to even the 2-0 score line towards the end of the first half.
 
In the second half, Keron Magloire landed a thunderous strike, sealing the fate of the game. Under pressure, it seems the African boys lost momentum, and a fourth goal from Magloire, and one from Dylano Edwards, gave the Standardz 7six7 SC Ballers a 5-nil victory.
 
The league culminates this weekend with the grand final between Standardz 7six7 SC Ballers and Fredos Taxi Gunnerz United, on Sunday 27th November at 4pm, preceded by the 3rd place match featuring Afrikaan Boys and Block Boys, at 2pm.
