Nineteen vehicles valued at over 4million EC dollars being made available to Dominica from the PRC
Nineteen vehicles valued at over 4 million EC dollars are being made available to Dominica from the People's Republic of China.
National Security Minister, Rayburn Blackmoore, and Chinese Ambassador to Dominica, Li Jiang Ning, signed a protocol from the Ministry of Defence of China for the 19 vehicles last week.
The vehicles will be used to support national security efforts of the Dominica Police Force and the Fire & Ambulance Services.
The signing is a follow up of an agreement which was established in 2015 between the Government of Dominica and the PRC.
Blackmoore revealed how the vehicles will be distributed by his ministry.
Blackmoore says he believes the vehicles will greatly assist with the work of the Police force and the Fire & Ambulance Service.

Meantime, the Chinese ambassador to Dominica, H.E Li Jiang Ning, says this is a new symbol of friendship between Dominica and the PRC.
