One man seriously injured in an accident which took place in Picard in Portsmouth late Sunday night

​One man may have lost both legs from a serious accident which took place in Picard area in Portsmouth late Sunday night. The accident was said to have taken place at about 11:30pm, and reportedly involved a truck and a street bike.
 
According to a source, the man was riding the street bike north on the Picard highway. His bike is said to have collided with a small truck traveling south, and got pinned under the truck. Both vehicles burst into flames. The truck was completely engulfed in flames; however, the driver was able to exit & was not injured.
 
Meanwhile, according to police reports, the motorcycle driven by Anthony Ricketts, collided with another vehicle driven by Sherman Harve. Both vehicles burst into flames at the scene of the collision.
 
Ricketts was transported to the Portsmouth Hospital, and then to the Emergency Department of the Princess Margret Hospital in Goodwill, where he was treated and admitted.
