Opposition Leader continues campaign against mismanagement of the CBI program by DLP Government1/11/2017 Opposition Leader Lennox continues his campaign against the mismanagement of CBI program by the current DLP Government. In recent times the Opposition Leader has come under fire for an interview with CBS 60 minutes aired on January 1 titled “Passports for Sale”.
Linton has stood firm by his decision, and continues to express the UWP’S concerns for the programs potential risks. In his press statement, he says the party is deeply concerned that Under Skerrit’s watch, the Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Program has been mismanaged and corrupted to become primarily a source of funding for Labour Party destruction of elections with integrity and wealth creation for a chosen few while others in the country suffer in poverty. He went to say that while the Government claims that the country depends on tourism, foreign direct investment and international assistance in times of natural disasters, on the other hand the administration refuses to recognize and accept Dominica’s moral obligation to responsible behavior for the advancement of global civilization. Linton is of the view that while he pines for the improvement of the country Prime Minister Skerrit does not.
