Opposition Leader hopes to improve Dominica’s CBI program which featured CBS 60 Minutes interviews1/10/2017 Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Lennox Linton hopes to see improvements in Dominica’s CBI program, which was recently the focus of a CBS 60 Minutes feature. Linton listed goals such as “an immediate end to the ‘under the table sale of Dominica’s Diplomatic Passports’; full transparency and accountability in the management of Dominica’s CBI program; Dominica to resolve the concerns over breaches to the global security architecture from its CBI program, as represented by officials of the US Department of Homeland Security; immediate cancellation of the practice of paying huge commissions to an exclusive marketer, when the work of promoting and selling passports is being done by agents; & funds from the sale of Dominican passports must benefit all Dominicans.”
He went on to question a comment made by Nassief in his letter, which seemed to suggest that Linton may not survive the consequences which would follow the interview. Linton said he is disturbed by that comment, especially on the heels of execution threats against him last week.
