Leader of the opposition Lennox Linton is reaffirming his concerns about Dominica’s Citizenship by Investment Program. Based on reports given at the last budget speech, he compared Dominica’s progress to that of Antigua, which recently began the Program, and showed that Dominica’s progress only matched up to 10% of that made by Antigua. Linton says Government did not deliver on its $80 million goal set for the Citizenship by Investment Program for the 2014/2015 budget year, and gave no explanation for its shortfall, and yet its new goal set for the 2015/2016 budget year is $70 million. Clip: Lin20 Linton believes the DLP Government has not learned lessons from its past mistakes, and continues to make the same errors time & time again. He says, if government does not learn from its mistakes, the situation will continue to linger, and the country will be hurt by the same situation over and over again.
