PDV Caribe Dominica Ltd. officially launched its complete line of LPG products, on Friday August 12, 2016. The company says a significant milestone was attained, marking its entrance into a new segment of the LPG Commercial market, to sell bulk fuel to the private and public sectors.
 
At its media launch in Jimmit, PetroCaribe announced its latest additions to its line of products, to include 100-pound (24g) LPG cylinders, 1050 -pound (250g) propane tanks, and its 420-pound (100g) propane tank.
On Tuesday, PetroCaribe Deputy Manager, Hon. Denise Charles stated that the company’s initiative of bringingbulk fuel has already stirred interest in the Dominican market since its launch on Friday.
 
She says that despite cost being primarily controlled by the ministry of commerce, by bringing fuel in by bulk rather than iso-tanks allows the company to offer a better price to the local community.

​On July 30, 2016, PDV Caribe Dominica Ltd received its first shipment of 1544 barrels of LPG, guaranteeing a 3 months’ supply of fuel on the market while maintaining their security stock.
