Petite Savanne Constituency MP describes as a win, win situation the signing of internship contracts for displaced residents as a result of TS Erika
Petite Savanne MP, Dr Kenneth Darroux, has described as a win, win situation the signing of internship contracts for displaced residents as a result of TS Erika.
On Wednesday 61 contracts were signed under the NEP to begin work in the health services sector.
More than two thirds of the interns are from the Petite Savanne constituency and they will be employed as orderlies, domestic workers, and ward aids.
Dr Darroux says this will benefit both the displaced residents and the Ministry of Health.
Meantime, Dr Darroux says this new initiative by government will not replace the displacement allowance.
